WHAT IS SPRITE ANALYZER & PROCESSOR?
Sprite Analyzer is a powerful, 100% browser-based inspection and manipulation tool designed for game developers and pixel artists. It serves as a diagnostic scanner and a non-destructive transformation engine. You can instantly extract deep color palettes, detect hidden AI artifacts, and apply precise geometric transformations (like resizing, rotating, and canvas expansion) without ever losing pixel-perfect clarity.
HOW IT WORKS
Upload & Inspect
Drop your sprite into the viewport. The engine immediately decodes the image locally, extracting its raw metadata, unique color palette, and RGB distribution.
Diagnose
Toggle the Alpha Map Overlay to scan for "ghost pixels" or anti-aliasing artifacts often left behind by AI generators or rough scaling.
Transform
Use the geometric controls to resize the image, expand the canvas workspace, rotate, or flip the sprite. All transformations are previewed in real-time.
Optimize & Export
Select your desired output format (PNG, WEBP, JPEG, BMP), adjust the compression quality, optionally strip EXIF data, and download your processed sprite.
SETTINGS GUIDE
Show Color Palette
Scans the entire image and generates a clickable palette of the most frequent HEX colors.
Pixel Histogram
Visualizes the overall distribution of Red, Green, and Blue channels across the image.
Alpha Map Overlay
A diagnostic scanner. It highlights hidden semi-transparent "ghost pixels" in glowing neon magenta, turns solid pixels dark gray, and transparent backgrounds dark blue to expose dirty edges.
View Raw Metadata
Opens a modal displaying the raw file information (MIME type, size, original dimensions) exposed to the browser.
Flip Image
Mirrors the sprite horizontally or vertically.
Rotate
Rotates the image by exact degrees or quick 90° increments, automatically adjusting the canvas bounds to fit.
Resize Image
Scales the actual image dimensions up or down. Includes a toggle to lock the aspect ratio.
Canvas Size
Expands or crops the workspace without scaling the image. Uses a 9-point anchor system to determine where the image sits inside the new canvas.
Format
Choose between Lossless (PNG, BMP) or compressed (WEBP, JPEG) outputs.
Quality
Adjust the compression ratio (only applies to WEBP and JPEG).
Remove Metadata (EXIF)
Strips unnecessary camera or software data from the final file to save space and ensure privacy.
